On January 25, 2007, brochures and application forms were mailed to the club presidents for the 2008-09 Ambassadorial Scholarship and 2008-09 Rotary Grants for University Teachers.

¨       Completed applications must be returned to our District Administrative Secretary no later than March 30, 2007.  Please set your Club’s advertising and schedule deadlines early enough to meet this date.

 ¨       Mandatory personal interviews of applicants will be conducted on Saturday and possibly Sunday, April 21 and 22, 2007 in Cheyenne, WY. 

It is very important for Clubs to follow up with candidates.  The appointment of a Sponsor/Counselor is strongly recommended to help your candidate become familiar with Rotary, and to ensure that deadlines are met.  If you have any questions pertaining to the selection process please contact me.  I can be reached by phone at 307.635.1032, ext 122(office) or 307.638.1502 (home) or by email at losborn@lclsonline.org 

Publicizing the availability of this scholarship to local universities and colleges and in the local media is strongly encouraged.
