Bill Emslie
Bill is married to Tracey Emslie.  They have four grown children and two grandchildren.
Bill is a two time past Rotary Club president, serving the Fort Collins Foothills Club in 1995-96 and the Fort Collins After Work Club in 2008-09.  He has been involved with the Summer Youth Exchange program since 1988 and is currently it's chairman.  Bill is a supporter of international projects and has completed over 30 projects in Nepal as well as projects in Haiti, Africa and India.  As part of his international interests, Bill has written 10 successful District 5440 grant proposals.  He is a supporter of the Rotary Foundation and is a Paul Harris +1 and member of the bequest society.
Bill is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy.  He has a master's degree from Michigan State University.  He served active duty on two nuclear submarines.  As a reserve officer, he commanded six naval reserve units and retired as a captain.  He worked for 35 years in the electric utility industry and managed projects in power plant construction, engineering, and water resources. He is a member the Board of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.
Bill is a past United Way President and Campaign Chair.  He chaired two  mill levy campaigns for the Poudre School District and was awarded outstanding volunteer in the state by the Colorado Education Association.
Bill is an Eagle Scout and on the Longs Peak Council Board of  Directors.  He is active with the First United Methodist Church, having chaired the Board of Trustees, coordinated a $1.25 million building addition and chaired an effort that raised over $350,000 to install a world-class pipe organ.
