Gene George - Committee Chair

The Arbor Day Committee was formed in 1993 as a response to the Vision 2000 Committee beautification efforts. Rotary combined with the Natrona County Extension Agent and Willard Grade School to plant trees along Wyoming Blvd., at Yesness Park, at the Casper Golf Course, and at an unnamed park on the east side of Casper. The City of Casper provides a drip irrigation system to help the trees survive.
