men and women united worldwide who provide humanitarian
service, encourage high ethical standards in all
vocations and helps build goodwill and
peace in the world. An important component of all
clubs is the fellowship among members which helps
to foster the spirit of Rotary and service.

Examples of local involvement: Meals on Wheels; Larimer County Food
Bank; Habitat for Humanity; Poudre R-1 schools, Centennial High Scholl
scholarship fund; City of Fort Collins Natural Areas, Gardens at Spring
Creek; local chapter of the Red Cross; Team Fort Collins; Girl Scouts;
Laurel school reading program; 4-Way test program in local schools;
Rotary Youth Leadership; Teacher of the Month.
Examples of International Involvement: clean water solutions in Central
and South America; transportation of students in Tepic, Mexico; tsunami
relief in southeast Asia; microcredit program in India; Village Earth
program in India; Children of the Dump program in Nicaragua; microcredit
program in Ethiopia; working with Engineers without Borders; Rotary
youth exchange; Ambassadorial Scholar program.
Joining Rotary: The best way to learn about Rotary is to attend a local
Rotary meeting. In addition, you can find more information from Rotary
International’s web site. In order to become a member of any Rotary
Club, you must be sponsored by an existing member within that club.
Upon joining, there are requirements for attendance; involvement in
club activities, payment of dues and meals and adherence to the Rotary
4-Way Test.
