Make arrangements
for pick-up of

student and initial

host families and

help to make the
student
feel welcome and
at home. Assign
a counselor to
each
exchange student
(both out-going
and in-coming)
who will
have weekly contact
with student to
help with any issues
that
arise, make sure
finances are in
order and be a
constant
liaison with the
host families and
the YEC and have
a confidant if
necessary. Track
progress of
student and report
to the board monthly
on needs of student,
if any.

CSU Business School-International Connection Larry Salmen,
CHAIR
Define the role the club can
play in helping to implement an International entrepreneur/internship
program with the business school. Contact with Paul Hudnut,
John Grant, and Dean Ajay Menon of the CSU Business School.

Continue our relationship with
the Tepic Nayarit club and find ways in which we can
define new goals and opportunities in helping the migrant
sugar cane and tobacco workers and their children. Work
on simplified grants, DDF, and matching grants and perhaps
make another fact-finding trip before identifying a long
term, hands-on project both clubs can become involved
in ( perhaps a water project) and establish a lasting
relationship with the Indians and the Tepic Rotarians.
Work closely with the World Community Service committee
for proposed funding.

Interview and mentor our candidate to
prepare for district interviews. Find a counselor
for any inbound Scholar to help with getting
acclimated to CSU. Help the scholar understand
the ins and outs of the CSU environs and Fort
Collins. Make sure all of their needs are met.
Be sure to make the scholar welcome to all club
functions.
