Dengue Fever Prevention in Bali, Indonesia -- Rotary Club of Denpasar Kota (MG# 58408); Category: Health

A project to reduce the incidence of Dengue Fever in Kabupaten Badung (population about one million), the developed area adjacent to Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. The program will provide organized inspection of mosquito breeding sites in and around homes, education of adults and children, and training of medical personnel in diagnosis and treatment. The project is similar in nature and scope to the very successful project in Purwokerto, Central Jfaava, and to the recently completed project in Denpasar, the capital of Bali. the project will utilize the experience and training obtained during the Denpasar project (MG #19658), with RDG Wibowo Kusumadi in charge of training.
