New Technology for Zacapa School for Deaf-- Rotary Clubs of Chiquimula & Gualan, Guatemala(MG# ); Category: Education

The purpose of this project is to provice financial support to equip a school for the deaf. This school, located in Zacapa, serves ~75 children with impaired hearing and/or speaking. The facility does not receive sufficient financial support to equip itself with needed computers, associated specialized software and other tools to educate their students. This project will directly benefit the students of the school and indirectly benefit the families and communities of these youth while supporting the Rotary Clubs in their efforts to support their communities.
