Teacher of the Month

September 2007

The teacher of the month for September is Lee Needham.

At Boltz Junior High since 1996, Lee teaches United States History, Humanities, Social Studies and Current Issues. He creates students who become critical thinkers, well aware of current events and the cause and effect of historical milestones. Lee’s students are able to comprehend outside our country’s borders.

In 2006, Lee was selected as 1 of 30 world wide participants for The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History Seminar on The Cold War, held at the University of Cambridge in England.

We salute teachers like Lee who instill in our children a world vision and perspective that promotes community and understanding.
