Under Chris Gains direction, Greeley Redeye has recored its best fundraiser ever. Bill Widmaier reports that our sales of $ 10,931.50 with a cost of $ 5,537.25 resulted in a net profit of $ 5,394.25. Cudos go to our top three salespersons Tom with 270, Norma with 202 and Chris with 180. Thanks to all members for a wonderfully successful fundraiser.

SYANAURA
What a club! What a fine group of people! What a bunch of doers! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
As your past President, I've been asked to write a few words for the newsletter. Where has the year gone? Where was the contoroversy? Where were the failures? Yes, I'm sure we could have done even more but we also accomplished a lot.
At the first meeting back in July of '07 the tone was set. I asked for volunteers to heat the respective committes and programs. Two individuals came up to me right after the meeting and offered, yes offered, to each head a committee - Jerry Garner "Progrmas" and Chris Gaines "Geraniums." My year was already made.
Phyllis then offered to head up the "Community Service" Committee and the rest is history. Thank you, too, to the the other chairs-- Bill Grady (vocational service), Scott Young (International), Kay Kosmicki (Social), REbecca Koppes-Conway (Membership), and Sid Ligon who was responsible for the directory and ssisted with programs.
A special thank you to the Board, and Bev and Bill for their work as Secretary and Treasurer respectively. And special mention to Larry Burkhardt for his dedication to membership. And best of luck to Larry to you during yuour tenure this next year. And finally, to two individuals, who are "extreme" Redeyes and unsung heros for being to our meeting room weekly, before 6:30 AM, to make sure it was set up as yuou would want it and to accommodate the speaker. Chip and Sid you are two special dedicated Rotarians- many, many thanks.
My year was highlighted by your involvement, enthusiasm and support. In every Rotary fashion imaginable-- thank you, thank you, thank you.
